Brooks Macdonald Foundation
The Brooks Macdonald Foundation uses the expertise, skills, and enthusiasm of staff to develop and support charitable giving. Funds are generated from corporate donations, an employee Give as You Earn Scheme, company and individual fundraising events and donations from friends, family and clients.
The aim of the Foundation is that it will benefit from the growth of the company and build on a solid base of charitable giving. It provides a forum for fund raising concepts and channels the enthusiasm of the Brooks Macdonald team into meaningful support and a substantial resource.
By its first anniversary, in September 2011 the Foundation had donated over £16,000 to a variety of charities. All donations are made at the request of staff members to charities they feel strongly about supporting.

How the Foundation Began
Staff at Brooks Macdonald have taken part in many fundraising activities including marathon running, a London to Paris bike ride and the 24 Peaks Challenge all raising money for a variety of charitable causes.
In 2010 an employee survey revealed that many staff members felt that the company could do more to support this culture of charitable giving. After a further company-wide vote the Brooks Macdonald Foundation was established as a Charitable Trust via the Charities Aid Foundation.
